Tackling the First Morning Back

Young child holding stack of books and back to school written onGet an early night. The perfect preparation for your first day back at school would be feeling refreshed after a good night’s sleep. Lay your uniform out before going to bed to save yourself time in the morning and sneak an extra 5 minutes in bed!

Wake Up. Although it’s key to have a good snooze, don’t overdo it! Make sure you get yourself out of bed when your alarm goes off! Set the alarm slightly earlier than you normally would so you can give yourself time to get back into the swing of things!

Take a Shower. Nothing else will wake you up in the way that a shower will. It’ll help set you up for the day  and leave you looking clean and fresh ready for a great start to the school year! Don’t forget to have a little sing in the shower as well and show off your talents!

Get Dressed. Put on your clothes that you set out the night before, by preparing your uniform in advance you will save yourself a bit of time in the morning to do other things.

Eat your Breakfast. Some say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it gives you all that you need to start the day right!. Having a balanced breakfast will help to get you more energized and pumped up for your first day back! Leave the sugary cereals and help yourself to bread and fruits with a drink of milk or juice to go with it.

Travel to school! Now for the final bit! Get yourself to school. We recommend walking as it keeps you active and can help to wake you up even more and raise your levels of concentration. But if it’s too far or you’re running a little late then taking the bus or getting a lift is okay!
